Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for all areas of the leisure and accommodation operation at the front desk vie face to face, telephone, e-mails, and text.
- Interact, and communicate effectively, with customers, residents, personal trainers, class instructors and staff at all levels.
- Deliver a high level of customer service at all times to ensure a consistently exceptional customer experience.
- Manage and seek feedback from all areas of the operation to ensure satisfaction levels of customers are maintained.
- Arrange tours of Accommodation, Gym and Spa areas with prospective customers/clients.
- Ensure all Normal operating procedures, policies and emergency procedures are adhere too by customers and guests
- Provide lifeguard cover to the pool and wet side area.
- Maintain defined front of house standards, ensuring all leaflets are fully stocked, displays clearly laid pout and counters are clean and free from clutter as required.
- Carry out direct marketing a sales activities for promotion of services and facilities. Examples would be direct calls, off site promotional activity, marketing activity at events
- Deliver a healthy and safe environment at all times. This will include First Aid cover, life guard cover, monitoring CCTV of pool area every five minutes, checking first aid equipment and knowledge of defibrillator equipment.
- Responsible for computer operated management/database systems (MRM) - till operation, cash handling, preparing change orders, filling in banking payment slips, digital payments systems (PDQ), direct debit procedures
- Responsible for collating and management of personal information - names, address's, financial details, medical records in line with data protection of club members, staff and student residents
- Liaison with other service providers within the club operation
- Responsibility for issuing and accepting deliveries, parcels and mail for residents, sub-contractors and the club reception
- Carrying out room inspections before, during and on completion of residents stay within accommodation
- Have a complete understanding of the Policies and procedures for the accommodation operation, including tenancy documents, medical records, debt management system
- Taking an active role in disciplinary procedures, investigations and hearings
- Regularly checking and reviewing information booklets to ensure they are up to date and relevant.
- Act as the fully trained first aider, pool lifeguard and fire warden
- Support and active involvement within the disciplinary process for accommodation residents
- Management of customer debt process - letters, payments, procedure
- Managing guest process for accommodation - filling in reservation sheet, payment forms and reconciliation of spreadsheets/reports to reflect takings.
- Taking booking for classes, inductions via telephone, face to face and e-mail.
- Where applicable qualifications are held, role will involve covering Gym inductions, Classes and membership programmes.
