We are recruiting an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a delivery team working on one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects at Sizewell C. This role offers the opportunity to be embedded on site, supporting safe delivery of complex civil engineering works while helping to drive a strong, proactive safety culture.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day health & safety advice and support to site and project teams
  • Review and advise on RAMS, Site Health & Safety Plans, and safe systems of work
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and accident investigations
  • Lead and contribute to H&S meetings with project stakeholders and subcontractors
  • Support implementation of project HSEQ management systems
  • Promote continuous improvement in safety performance and behaviours

About you:

  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within Construction or Civil Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and CDM 2015 requirements
  • Confident communicator able to positively influence site teams
  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a live construction environment

Essential qualifications:

  • NEBOSH General & Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
  • CSCS card
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • IOSH membership
  • Experience on major infrastructure or nuclear-related projects
