Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Lead Product Manager for an initial 6 month contract with option to extend on a rate of £600/day (Inside IR35). This role will be based in Edinburgh, however, will be expected to travel to other premises.

Responsibilities:

  • To support the delivery of digital products and services.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading Agile, multidisciplinary product teams through the full lifecycle, selecting effective delivery approaches and ensuring user‑centred, value‑driven outcomes.
  • Proven ability to define and communicate product vision and benefits, translating complex technical or operational concepts into clear, actionable product decisions.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills, including the ability to engage and collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders at all organisational levels and areas of expertise to align products with organisational objectives and service needs.
  • Proven experience of identifying, managing and mitigating risks within governance frameworks, resolving issues and ensuring products are operationally robust and well‑integrated.
  • Demonstratable experience of applying expert problem‑solving skills and coaching teams, driving continuous improvement across product delivery and service operations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of modern data platforms, integration patterns and data‑driven service design, enabling the delivery of secure, scalable and insight‑led digital products.
  • Experience within the public sector in Scotland.
