Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a HR Administrator for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of £15.18 - £16.32/hour PAYE. This role will be onsite for a couple of days a week for the first few weeks with a move towards more flexible working.

Responsibilities:

- Contracts / Letters (using templates)

- HRIS basic updates (change in address, FWR, change in bank details, etc)

- Contact from people unable to access system (password does not work / forgot)

- Contact from people with wrong working pattern/hierarchy/reporting line

- Contact with people with wrong access to system or their set up/access is not working – basic troubleshooting with support

- Contact from people that want to chat to HR (normally advice level, knowing when and where to escalate)

- Payroll queries – holding email and escalate to appropriate person

- Emails that need to go to careers

- Data request (reports)

- ONS surveys

- Uploading the medigold (manager referral) to HRIS

- Potentially minutes (as required)

Essential Skills:

- Strong admin skills, attention to detail, organisation,

- Communication skills – email and verbal

- Experience working in an HR team

- Systems skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams

- Experience working with an HRIS system

- Problem solving

- Minute taking (desirable)
