Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Greenock, is currently looking to recruit a Graphic Designer for an initial 12 week contract on a rate of £250 – £300/day inside IR35. This a Part Time role with 3 days per week. One of these days will be need to based in the office.

Responsibilities

  • To design and develop visual materials for all services across the organisation including, but not limited to brochures (including typesetting), leaflets, posters, advertisements, logos, signage, livery, and digital assets.
  • To apply basic graphic animation and include film where appropriate within the development of digital assets.
  • To ensure that corporate brand identity guidelines are adhered to and managed.
  • To liaise with internal services to scope and develop clear project briefs and respond with design concepts; refining and agreeing these and applying design work as appropriate within agreed deadlines.
  • To manage workflow planning, ensuring services are updated as required, amends and sign offs are managed and jobs are prioritised and delivered within agreed timescales.
  • To attend project group meetings, and internal service meetings as appropriate to scope/present design solutions and to represent the communications team.
  • To coordinate print and materials quotes and ensure best value, efficiency and quality.
  • To be responsible for the upkeep of equipment and material supplies, pertaining to the post.
  • To maintain an accurate record of all design work.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as directed by line management.
