Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation with offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a Business Support Partnership Strategic Business Analyst for a 1 month contract on a rate of £300-£400/day (Outside IR35).
Responsibilities:
- Mapping of the Digital Estate.
- Analyse partner responses that have been collected through MS forms: summarising findings/costs.
- Create a list of platforms/tools/diagnostics/hosting.
- Investigate and document their running costs (which will include annual fees, plus internal/external service management/running costs).
- Create a report of analysis showing the current digital estate.
- Horizon scan of self-serve options for business (desk research) support - with agreement if timescales allow.
- Clarify the scope of the exercise.
- Undertake desk-based research/analysis.
- Create a document outlining the self-serve options available to businesses from other countries.
Essential Skills:
- Data analysis: experience that enables meaningful analysis from the returns of the questionnaire/survey to take place. The candidate will be required to drive the analysis; providing an objective view on what the responses do not tell us. Also, the ability to perform financial analysis on responses.
- Business and technical knowledge: A strong understanding of the business support environment, the needs of customers, business principles, strategic goals, and the relevant technology.
- Report writing – experience of written reports on the outputs of analysis.
