Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate, hands-on HR support to managers, focusing on practical, timely advice to address live people matters and maintain team performance.
- Deliver clear, professional guidance across a range of employee relations issues, including conduct, grievance, absence, and performance, ensuring alignment with employment law and organisational policies.
- Take an active role in case management, supporting managers through all stages of the process (early resolution, investigation, hearing, and appeal). This includes advising on approach, reviewing documentation, supporting risk assessment, and ensuring procedural compliance.
- Contribute directly to investigations by supporting or undertaking notetaking, assisting with evidence review, and producing clear, concise investigation reports and outcome documentation.
- Provide pragmatic policy advice and interpretation to managers, ensuring consistent application and minimising risk in decision-making.
