Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Document and Governance Officer for a 23 month contract on a rate of £152.95/day (Inside IR35).
Responsibilities
- Presentation of documents, ensuing accurate and speedy presentation of documents during proceedings and working closely with colleagues.
- Preparation of documents for publication and publishing documents on the website in line with publication protocols
- Managing the internal file plan ensuring that the building has an accurate and comprehensive official record
- Preparing for and implementing the preservation, retention or deletion of the documents in line with instructions, the protocols and procedures, and requirements of the National Records of Scotland (NRS).
- Supporting colleagues in creating a high standard of governance and compliance arrangements within the organisation
- Working flexibly to the accommodate operational priorities and supporting other member of the team as required.
Essential Skills
- Previous experience of systems and experience of document and information management is desirable.
