Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Business Support Assistant for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of £15.24/hour (PAYE). This role will be office based.
- Ensuring visitors are offered refreshments, signed in, advised of location of facilities etc.
- Responsible for ensuring the office is presentable, tidy and well maintained.
- Responsible for ensuring that kitchen areas are presentable, well maintained and fridges and cupboards regularly cleared and cleaned.
- Arranging courier services for colleagues when required.
- Maintaining stationery and general office supplies – conducting regular stock checks.
- Supporting internal meetings, arranging dates, circulating agendas and papers when directed.
- Assisting the Finance team in preparing and processing expense claims and purchase orders.
- Providing support to the Procurement Manager, including maintaining databases and scheduling training.
- Commitment and desire to study towards relevant business administration qualifications.
- Able to produce quality work with excellent attention to detail.
- Microsoft Office experience in an educational or vocational environment.
- HND (relevant business field).
- Customer service experience.
