Venesky-Brown’s client, is currently looking to recruit a Data Architect for an initial short term contract (20 working days) on a rate of £600/day (Outside IR35).
This role will be remote.
Essential skills Expert knowledge of enterprise data and analytics architecture, including data modelling, governance, metadata, lineage, master data management, data quality, interoperability and information architecture.
Significant experience designing and delivering enterprise data platforms, data warehouses/lakehouses, ETL/ELT processes, APIs, data pipelines and cloud integration solutions.
Advanced technical skills in SQL, Python, Power BI and enterprise data governance tools.
Strong understanding of AI-enabled data platforms, including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, Vector Search and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), with knowledge of associated governance, security and architectural requirements.
Proven experience delivering large-scale data transformation programmes using cloud and enterprise technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, SQL Server and Snowflake.
Experience evaluating, selecting and implementing enterprise data, analytics, integration and governance platforms, and developing strategic technology roadmaps.
Desirable skills Professional certifications in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, TOGAF, CDMP or equivalent industry-recognised frameworks.
Experience leading enterprise-wide data strategy, governance maturity and AI adoption initiatives within complex organisations.
Knowledge of semantic modelling, metadata catalogue solutions and advanced analytics ecosystems.
Experience supporting the adoption of emerging AI and data technologies in highly regulated environments.
