Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit an Oracle Fusion Payroll & Pensions Functional Consultant for a fixed term contract on a part-time basis (3 days per week). Day rate £650-£750 (inside IR35). Hybrid working, fully remote working may be considered. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application and be resident in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Successful candidates will work as part of a small project team including our in-house Oracle Fusion payroll functional lead, Payroll and Pensions colleagues, Project Manager and Test Analysts.
- Support detailed requirement gathering; deliver configuration; support test execution and troubleshooting; deliver implementation to production environment; prepare documentation; and deliver handover to University Business as usual team.
Project Deliverables:
- Payroll Elements Compliance - annual statement data inc P11Ds
- New starts calculation cards for additional assignments
- New Start calculation card for late hires
- Leavers - deduct/refund pension contributions for employees after leaving
- Configure the pension scheme for actual earnings.
Essential Skills:
- Significant experience of delivering complex Oracle Fusion Payroll Configuration in large enterprise environments including, but not limited to:
- Development and maintenance of fast formulas for payroll calculations, earnings and deductions, Proration, arrears, and retro
- Configuration of calculation cards
- Configuration of pension schemes
- Configuration of statutory elements and P11Ds
- Payroll processes for multiple assignment.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of working in complex public sector and/or higher education environments is valuable.
