Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Inverness, is currently looking to recruit an Admin Assistant on a temporary contract on a rate of Β£14.54/hour PAYE. This role will be based on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing administration assistance within the general office – including, answering internal and external phone/email enquiries, filing, data input and ensuring secure storage and maintenance of data.
  • Managing the visit booking phoneline.
  • Updating and maintaining records on internal computer systems.
  • Provide relief cover for the canteen assistant and mail administrator when required.
  • Handling confidential information and ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
  • As part of a multi-functional team, the post holder will be required to carry out other tasks or cover as specified by the Office Manager, commensurate to their grade.

Essential Skills:

  • A minimum of 2 National 5 qualifications, including English and Maths or equivalent qualifications, or relevant previous job experience within an admin role.
  • Experience of carrying out administrative duties.
  • Competent and experienced in the use of MS Office packages, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience of understanding and following policies and procedures.
