Venesky-Brown is currently recruiting for an experienced Traffic Marshal/Gateman to support a construction project in North Hykeham, Lincoln.
The role will involve controlling access to site, managing deliveries and visitors, and helping maintain a safe and organised site entrance.
Duties
- Controlling access to and from site
- Signing workers, visitors and deliveries in and out
- Managing and directing deliveries
- Liaising with site management regarding access and vehicle movements
- Maintaining accurate visitor and delivery records
- Keeping the gate and entrance area safe and organised
- Assisting with traffic management where required
- Communicating with drivers, operatives and site personnel
- Following all site health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous Gateman / Gateperson experience on a construction site
- Valid CSCS card
- Valid Traffic Marshal qualification
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Confident dealing with drivers and visitors
- Traffic Marshal / Banksman experience beneficial
Pay
- £17.19 per hour PAYE basic rate
- Monday–Friday night shift / early hours: £21.49 per hour
- Saturday: £25.79 per hour
- Sunday: £25.79 per hour
Additional hours and overtime may be available depending on project requirements.
