Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit an Audio Typist for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of £16.22 – £18.37/Hour (PAYE)
Responsibilities:
– Provide an audio typing and general administrative service to support the investigation process.
Essential Skills:
– Five Standard Grades at Grade 3 or above including English and Maths / Arithmetic or equivalent; or relevant experience.
– Experience of audio typing, high volume to tight deadlines
– Experience of developing and maintaining spreadsheets within Excel
– Experience of self managing within an often variable and complex workload
– Well-developed communication skills at all organisational levels, across a range of media
– Knowledge and skills related to effective records management
– An awareness of the issues when dealing with Official Sensitive or Restricted information.
– Ability to work collaboratively and supportively with others
