Veneer Technologies, Inc. (VTI) has an opportunity for a Summer Intern to team up with our Marketing Department! You will work with the Communications Manager to gain hands‑on experience in various marketing strategies and develop a better understanding of how marketing equates to meaningful company initiatives. This program includes two specialized roles: Digital Media Intern and Copywriting Intern. While each role has a unique focus, both interns will work together on campaign strategy, content development, and execution.
Copywriting Intern Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Writing blog posts and website content
- Developing SEO- and AEO-informed content
- Assisting with campaign messaging and creative briefs
- Writing scripts and captions for digital media content
- Supporting marketing research and content planning
Preferred Skills:
- General understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Interest in storytelling, branding, and marketing strategy
- Portfolio encouraged but not required (may include written school assignments)
Requirements:
- Applicants must be through their sophomore year at a 4‑year accredited college or university with courses focused on obtaining a degree in marketing, design, or similar field.
- Outstanding written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to collaborate and work effectively on a team.
- Live within the area of Newport, NC or be willing to relocate for the summer. Arrangements can be made for housing to be provided for the duration of the internship.
- Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled.
