We’re searching for 2 talented Senior React Native developers to join our team and dive into building a one-of-a-kind platform that manages finances for super yachts and touring bands—pretty cool, huh? This isn’t your average gig; you’ll be working on a complex system that caters to some truly unique industries, using React Native and AWS as your main tools.

Expect to get your hands dirty with a variety of tasks: designing and building complex apps used by a vast marketplace to drive efficiency and develop features that make life easier for our clients—like automated invoicing systems or real-time expense tracking. You’ll work with some very talented people to ensure the platform stays reliable and scalable as we grow. If you enjoy solving real-world problems with clean, efficient code, this could be right up your alley.

The best part? This role is fully remote, meaning you can work from literally anywhere in the UK. You’ve got the freedom to set up your workspace wherever suits you best. If you want to there is an office in Manchester where 50% of the business works from but you have the flexibility to make it work your way, as long as you’re based in the UK.

On top of that, we’re putting together a compensation package that’s worth your while. You’ll get good benefits to keep you covered, a bonus to reward your hard work, and shares in the company—yep, a little slice of the action to make you feel invested in what we’re building. Our leadership team isn’t new to this game either; they’ve built and sold very successful software companies and worked for names like Amazon and Microsoft, so you’ll be working with people who know how to turn ideas into successes.

If you’re ready to tackle some interesting challenges, write code that matters, and join a team that’s doing something a bit out of the ordinary—all from wherever you call home in the UK—then we’d love to hear from you.

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If Venchr uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
