Lead Mobile Engineer – Fintech Scale-Up – Remote/Manchester – £90k – £110k Are you an accomplished mobile engineer? Are you interested in working for a globally established fintech scale-ups with a plethora of high-profile clients? Venchr are partnered with one of the fastest-growing scale-ups in the fintech space known for their superyacht management platform that streamlines all aspects of administrative management: from foreign exchange to payroll to financial reconciliation. What you’ll do: From day one, you will be responsible for porting the code from third-party agencies and bringing the mobile development in-house. You will be building brand-new applications from scratch using React Native and pioneering best practices for the mobile portion of engineering. You will be the first hire of the mobile development team and will be key in its establishment within the company. You will report directly to the CTO and eventually, will be responsible for leading two more junior engineers when they are hired. What we’re looking for: We are looking for a hands-on Lead Mobile Engineer who is extremely accomplished with React Native and has experience leading a small technical team. React Native is the primary technical prerequisite – experience with cloud platforms is preferable. Experience creating an app from scratch and seeing it through the publication process is a plus also. This is a remote role, with the expectation that you will travel to their Manchester office once a month or so. There is flexibility with location as long as you can occasionally travel to this location when the role demands so.
