Graduate Software Engineer (AI) – Mobile and web – up to £80k – Full Remote

We are revolutionizing the way people communicate on a global scale by developing AI-powered platforms that enable seamless, multilingual interactions across diverse cultures and time zones. Our early-stage innovations focus on real-time translation, collaborative tools, and intuitive user experiences that foster genuine global connections.

As we build out our core engineering team, we seek an enthusiastic Graduate Software Engineer (AI) with expertise in mobile and web development to drive the evolution of our flagship applications. In this full remote role, you will work collaboratively from anywhere in the UK, contributing directly to features that handle high-volume data streams and ensure robust, cross-platform performance

You will design and implement mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms alongside web interfaces, creating responsive experiences that integrate with our backend services for real-time communication.

Additionally, you will optimize application performance by profiling resource usage and refining algorithms for efficient data synchronization, particularly in scenarios involving live audio, text processing, and AI-driven features like natural language understanding. Furthermore, you will collaborate with our product and design teams to iterate on user-centric features, incorporating feedback loops that enhance accessibility and scalability in multilingual environments.

You are a recent graduate or early-career professional with hands-on experience through internships, academic projects, or personal initiatives, demonstrating your ability to navigate multiple programming paradigms in mobile and web contexts. Ideally, you have served as a founder in a prior venture or maintained personal projects that showcase your initiative, such as building open-source tools for cross-device synchronization or experimenting with hybrid app architectures.

You demonstrate proficiency across diverse languages and frameworks for both mobile and web development, enabling you to select the most appropriate tools for each challenge without over-relying on singular approaches. Moreover, you exhibit a strong aptitude for remote collaboration, thriving in asynchronous environments while maintaining clear documentation and version control practices.

In our dynamic environment, you will contribute meaningfully where your expertise directly impacts our innovation pipeline. We value proactive thinkers who thrive in cross-functional settings and are committed to sustainable development practices.
