At Venchi, Italian excellence in chocolate and gelato from 1878, we are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in running one of the London city stores, contributing to sales performance, team development, and an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations and achievement of sales KPIs
  • Lead, motivate and develop the sales team, fostering a positive environment
  • Ensure excellent customer experience aligned with the Venchi Service Model
  • Manage store opening and closing procedures and supervise cash operations
  • Support shift planning, holidays, and attendance
  • Monitor stock, warehouse, and inventory, supporting replenishment and VM activities
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and hygiene standards, especially for gelato and chocolate

Ideal Candidate Mandatory Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience as Assistant Store Manager or similar role
  • Experience in sales team management
  • Availability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience in premium retail, food, gelato, or chocolate
  • Familiarity with sales KPIs, reporting, and POS systems
  • Strong organizational skills and results orientation
