Venatu Recruitment Group are working in partnership with our client in Rainton, who we are looking to recruit a Workshop Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in the truck, bus, or car industry to step into a leadership role and make a real impact within a busy, professional workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Allocate work to technicians and apprentices
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop
- Maintain productivity and ensure high-quality standards
- Liaise with Service and Parts departments
- Lead, support, and develop the team
- Monitor job progress and report to management
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a similar role within automotive, truck, bus, or HGV sectors
- Confident in supervising a workshop team
- Familiar with Dealer Management Systems (DMS)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Basic IT literacy
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable)
