This is a hands-on position working behind the scenes to keep a busy bus fleet clean, fuelled, and ready for daily service.
About the Role
In this role, you will be an important part of the depot team, helping to ensure buses are safe, clean, and fully operational for passengers every day. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Fuelling and topping up oil levels in buses
- Moving (shunting) vehicles safely around the depot and parking them correctly
- Cleaning bus interiors and exteriors, including deep cleans and under-chassis washes
- Keeping depot areas clean and hygienic, including washrooms
- Supporting with vehicle changeovers and breakdown assistance when required
- Collecting and delivering vehicles or parts when needed
- Completing daily checks and logging fuel and oil usage
- Working closely with your team to keep depot operations running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
- A PCV licence (essential)
- A strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
- Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- A reliable team player who communicates well with others
- Willingness to learn new skills (full training will be provided)
