Venatu Recruitment are proud to announce that a new, industry leading client of ours who are a specialist provider of integrated safety and security solutions, offering services that range from advanced fire protection systems to comprehensive security technologies. They are a national provider of high-quality Security solutions delivering everything from small domestic installations to large commercial projects. They are renowned for their professional expertise and customer-focused approach, delivering tailored solutions that help protect people, property, and critical assets across a variety of industries. Due to their consistent growth and expansion, they are now looking for a Security Service Engineer based in Whiteley to join them ASAP!
You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire and security systems across domestic and commercial sites to ensure customers receive reliable, compliant, and high-quality protection, whilst contributing to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time Monday to Friday position working 40 hours per week paying £40k DOE + Company Van & Tools + Paid Travel!
Job duties include:
- Install, commission, service and repair Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Alarm Systems.
- Complete PPMs, maintenance and reactive works to achieve high first-time fix rates.
- Communicate effectively with Admin, Sales and Operations teams to ensure seamless scheduling.
- Upload documentation, certificates, photos and notes via our job management system.
- Maintain accurate van stock, tools and vehicle condition.
- Be part of the call-out Rota and occasionally provide remote support.
- Identify design issues or repeat faults and support continuous improvement.
The type of candidate they are looking for:
- Proven experience with Intruder, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Systems.
- Strong fault-finding and customer service skills.
- Good communication and timekeeping.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- To pass the NSI Gold standard vetting process.
- To pass the Enhanced DBS check (as they do service schools, care homes and hospitals).
