An established manufacturing business in North Lincolnshire is seeking a motivated and reliable Slitting Operator to join its Finishing Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous machine operating experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities of a Slitting Operator
- Operate slitting and conversion machinery safely and efficiently.
- Set up equipment in line with production specifications.
- Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards.
- Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
- Load, unload, palletise and package finished products as required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Identify and report machine faults, quality issues or safety concerns.
- Support continuous improvement and team objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery (slitting experience advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
