I'm recruiting on behalf of an established automotive business in Bury for a capable, hands-on Vehicle Technician to join its workshop team.
This isn't your typical servicing role.
The business has a dedicated mobile servicing operation, meaning the workshop concentrates on vehicles requiring more involved mechanical repairs, diagnostics and ramp-based work.
What's on offer?
- £40,000–£45,000 basic salary, dependent on experience
- Additional performance-related bonus
- Monday to Friday working
- No weekend working
- Workshop-based position
- Varied mechanical and diagnostic repairs
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
- Confidence diagnosing and repairing more complex faults
- Experience working on engines, transmissions, steering and suspension
- Relevant automotive qualifications or equivalent practical experience
- The ability to work independently and take pride in getting repairs right
You don't necessarily need to be a Master Technician. We're looking for someone who genuinely knows their way around a vehicle and enjoys the mechanical side of the job.
