About the Role:
We are working with a well-established legal firm dedicated to providing exceptional client service. They are seeking a Polish-speaking Paralegal to join their Personal Injury Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your legal career with a firm that offers strong career progression, extensive training, and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with clients on behalf of Fee Earners
- Managing own task list effectively, ensuring deadlines are met
- Assisting Fee Earners with drafting and collating legal documents
- Ensuring initial documents are signed and correctly processed
- Coordinating with medical agencies to arrange medical appointments
- Holding/attending telephone conferences with legal staff and third parties
- Explaining legal processes, court documents, and medical reports to clients and their carers
- Attending conferences with counsel and court hearings
- Providing regular updates to clients and third parties
- Assisting with cost recovery and settlements from third parties
- Supporting Managers and Fee Earners with additional tasks as required
Requirements:
- Prior experience working as a Paralegal, ideally within a Personal Injury Department
- Fluency in Polish (spoken and written) is highly desirable
- Experience using a case management system, ideally Proclaim
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A positive, proactive approach with a willingness to support others
