The opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Modular Joiner to join our Modular Building client in the York area.
The main duties will be:
- Measuring and cutting timber
- Using various joinery tools
- Reading joinery construction drawings
- Stud Wall Construction
- Plaster Boarding
- Keeping workplace hazard free
- 2nd Fix joinery duties
- Semi Skilled Joinery practices
- Sheeting
- Basic Floor Laying and Roofing
- General labouring duties
Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum 2 years Modular Joinery experience
- Ideally NVQ level 1 or 2 in Joinery and Carpentry
- Strong Attention to Detail
- The ability to work under pressure
- Can work as part of a team
- Can work if needed alone and unsupervised
- Punctual, Reliable and a Hard Worker
