A leading manufacturing company in North Lincolnshire is looking to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic Lamination Operator to join its Production Team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a modern manufacturing facility producing high-quality packaging solutions for a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities of a Lamination Operator
- Set up, operate and monitor lamination machinery to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Prepare materials, adhesives and machine settings in accordance with job specifications.
- Conduct regular quality checks and inspections throughout the production process.
- Accurately complete production records and quality documentation.
- Identify and troubleshoot minor machine faults, escalating issues when required.
- Ensure waste is minimised and production efficiency targets are achieved.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
- Adhere to all health, safety and environmental procedures.
Requirements of a Lamination Operator
- Previous experience operating lamination, printing, converting or similar manufacturing machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Good problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with a flexible approach to shift working.
- Experience within packaging or plastics manufacturing would be advantageous but not essential.
