Our client is passionate about producing high-quality food products that bring families together. We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic maintenance and engineering team. If you thrive in a fast-paced production environment and enjoy solving complex mechanical challenges, this could be the role for you! This is a daytime, Monday-Friday role (08:00-16:00) with no shift work required- perfect for Engineers looking for work-life balance in a fast paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain, and improve mechanical systems and equipment used in food production Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement preventative maintenance strategies Support installation and commissioning of new machinery Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to enhance equipment reliability Optimize energy usage and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations Requirements 2+ years of experience in an Engineering role within the manufacturing or industrial setting (food industry experience preferred) Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyors Ability to read technical drawings Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail What They Offer Competitive salary Monday- Friday 08:00-16:00 Lunch provided Career development and training opportunities A supportive team environment in a growing company Please apply if you would like to learn more about this exciting opportunity!
