I am recruiting for a Senior Vehicle Technician opportunity with a modern, well-established automotive business in Chingford. This position is for a capable, experienced Technician who enjoys the more intricate side of the trade and takes real pride in their ability.
We are looking for a Senior Vehicle Technician, Senior Diagnostic Technician or Master Technician who is confident carrying out:
- Advanced diagnostics and fault finding
- Engine repair work

- Electrical and sensor-related diagnosis
- General repairs across cars and light commercial vehicles
This role would suit somebody who has perhaps worked within a main dealer or strong independent and is now looking for a long-term home within a business where they will genuinely be valued. The workshop environment is excellent. Clean, modern, organised and properly equipped. You will have your own dedicated ramp area, your own equipment and access to any specialist tooling required to do the job properly.
The business itself is growing steadily and offers real long-term opportunity for the right person. They invest in their staff, support ongoing development and genuinely look after their team. Staff events, incentives and a positive working culture are all part of the environment here.
Most importantly, this role offers autonomy. You will come into work, manage your workload properly and be trusted to do what you do best without constant interference, pressure or chaos around you. For the right Technician, this is the type of role people stay in for years.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a strong all-round Technician
- Have excellent diagnostic capability
- Be confident with larger repairs
- Take pride in the quality of their work
- Be reliable, professional and customer focused
- Want stability and long-term career direction
- Still be open to learning and ongoing development

- Ongoing support and development
- Stable long-term opportunity
- Genuine work-life balance
- Supportive management team
- Immediate opportunity to become a key part of the business
The client is looking to move quickly and is aiming to have somebody in place by the end of June. I am specifically looking for genuine applicants only. If you are a serious Technician looking for a proper long-term opportunity within a business that values good people, I want to speak with you.
