Venatu Recruitment Group is currently recruiting a Carpenter / Joiner on behalf of our client, a leading Infrastructure Support business working on national frameworks including the Ministry of Justice (MOJ). This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled joiner to join a professional and established team in a primarily workshop-based role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workshop joinery – manufacture of doors, windows, staircases, formwork and shuttering, timber signposts as well as other bespoke timber items
- Occasional site-based installation and maintenance work
- Maintain stock levels of timber and building maintenance materials
- Keep the workshop clean, organised, and running efficiently
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Joinery or Carpentry (essential)
- Workshop joinery experience (essential)
- Previous experience with FM, building maintenance, or building services contractors (preferred)
- Ability to read technical drawings and deliver high-quality work
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Must be able to pass enhanced security clearance (due to MOJ site access)
