Venatu Recruitment are proud to announce that a new client of ours who are specialists within the Fire Protection industry are now looking for a Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer to join them as soon as possible! They pride themselves of being a leading figure within the industry offering several different Fire Protection & Sprinkler services such as design, fabraction, installation and commissiong for residental, commercial and industrial applications! They\βre also one of the most established in their field having been trading for almost 40 years with a consistent focus of delivering the highest quality service which has amassed them an enviable reputation of being the best in the business within the industry! Due to the consistent growth and expansion their now looking for a Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer to join them ASAP!
For this role you will need to have a full understanding of BSEN 12845 (NFPA & FM Global beneficial) and have the ability to problem solve and resolve issues that occur on a daily basis.
Thsi is a full-time role paying Β£70k + Company Car!
Job Duties Include:
- Ensure clients/ insurers requirements are adhered to at all times.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure designs are completed and on time and to the technical submissions standard
- Be involved in drawing and calculations to ensure compliance within the relevant fire sprinkler system standards
- Comply relevant documents to tender works from a clients initial inquiry
- Carrying out site surveys prior to design collating the required information
- Complete ISO-9001 paperwork relating to projects
The type of candidate they\βre looking for:
- LPCB Basic β mandatory
- LPCB intermediate or LPCB FHC -not essential but would be an advantage
- Auto Cad 2D (essential)
- Experience of carrying out site surveys, attending client meetings and site installations
- Minimum of 5 years\β experience within Sprinkler Industry
- CSCS Card desirable but not essential
- Customer care/relationship building skills
- Able to work as a member of a team
- Able to work without direct supervision
- Able to conduct surveys on site.
- Able to deal directly with customers in a professional manner and represent the company
- UK driving license; this position is primarily office based but with travel being a significant part of completing the role.
