Venatu Recruitment Group are working with a Doncaster based business looking for a Maternity cover Finance Manager. In this role, you will oversee the financial operations delivering strategic financial insight and analytical support to key stakeholders. You will ensure accurate reporting, analysis, and financial control that drive informed decision-making, enhance overall business performance, and support commercial success.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Providing strategic and financial guidance to ensure that the Company's financial commitments are met.
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls to continuously improve reporting and cost efficiencies, cashflow and EBITDA generation.
- Work collaboratively across the many cross-functional teams within the business to drive business process improvement and optimisation, delivering robust financial control.
- Compliance and Governance.
- Produce monthly management accounts and KPIs, reporting and communicating in a timely manner.
- Lead the Company's annual audit, liaising with Auditors where required.
- Management and optimisation of the Company's cashflow, liaising with customer, suppliers and group companies.
- Preparation of monthly payroll, liaising with external providers.
- Management of renewal of the Company's worldwide patents.
- Management of import/export financial processes.
- Supervision and delegation of works to finance team members.
- Working with the Company's managers and staff to operational levels.
- Produce and submit SAP reports.
The ideal candidate:
- Qualified AAT essential. CIMA, ACCA, ACA, AAT qualification desirable.
- Relevant experience in an FM/FC role.
- Experience of using a computerised accounting package, SAP advantageous.
- Accounting: 2 years (required)
