We are currently looking for a CHP Technical Engineer to join our client. This is field based across the UK.

Field Based (UK Wide) £45,000 to £57,000 + company car, door to door pay, OT pay and on call pay

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (40hrs) Permanent

We are looking for an experienced CHP Technical Engineer for our client. This role will involve a heavy amount of travel and staying away, and will be supporting a team of CHP engineers and office staff with technical questions and escalation.

Sites are located across the UK, from London to Inverness, so you must be comfortable working away for 2 to 5 days at a time and travelling regularly.

What will the CHP Technical Engineer be doing?

  • Onsite technical support to the office, engineers and clients
  • 70% to 80% field based travelling to sites across the UK (main locations include London and Midlands).
  • Training and development of Engineers where required/identified
  • Monitoring of the CHP fleet using Web Supervisor, Inteli Monitor, Lite Edit, TEM, TPEM
  • Onsite support to engineers with fault finding, overhauls, mechanical and electrical faults
  • Responsibility for 2 key account sites in Manchester and London
  • Onsite meetings, site surveys, site audit visit and site surveys for remedial works and projects
  • Out of hours technical support for clients and engineers

What are we looking for in the CHP Technical Engineer?

  • Practical knowledge of high level software based control systems such as Comap/Deep Sea etc.
  • IT literate
  • Happy with high mileage driving and working away from home
  • Gas safe (desired)
  • 18th Edition or equivalent Electrical qualification (desired)
