Venatu Recruitment is currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking 7.5T Driver / Installation Operative on behalf of our client. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate. The role involves driving 7.5T and 3.5T vehicles to customer sites across the UK, delivering equipment including commercial catering equipment, oversized units, and items with specialist delivery requirements.

Duties include:

  • Positioning and unpacking goods
  • Assisting with installations
  • Providing excellent customer service as part of a two-person delivery team

Hours are flexible depending on workload and customer requirements. While weekend working is minimal and rare, applicants should be aware that some days may involve early departures, extended working hours, or late returns due to travel and project requirements.

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) licence
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good level of physical fitness and manual handling ability
  • Professional and customer-focused attitude
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet customer requirements
  • Ability to accommodate early starts, longer working days, and occasional late evening returns when required

Desirable:

  • CSCS Card (advantageous but not essential)
  • Experience in commercial deliveries, removals, installation work, or two-person delivery operations
  • Counterbalance FLT experience (in-date licence advantageous but not essential)
