We are currently looking for an experienced CHP Maintenance Engineer to join our client servicing the Essex area.
CHP Maintenance Engineer
Field Based (covering Essex area)
£36,000 to £45,000 + door to door + OT Pay + no rota on call
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

We are seeking a CHP Maintenance Engineer to join our client, covering the Essex area, servicing Combined Heat and Power units ranging from 30kW to 500kW.
You’ll be provided with a company vehicle, and some work may require overnight stays, so a flexible approach to working patterns is required.

What will the CHP Maintenance Engineer be doing?
- Mixture of scheduled service work and reactive work
- Creating effective relationships within the Service Team and wider organisation
- Provide detailed site reports
- Maintaining regular communications with the service team
- Observing health and safety whilst on site
What are we looking for in the CHP Maintenance Engineer?
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a CHP Engineer
- Strong practical knowledge of LTHW hot water systems, including practical experience of pumps, inverter drives, flow rates, delta T, boiler operations and associated BMS Controls
- Strong practical electrical engineering knowledge of LV power generation and distribution systems
- MWM trained
- Happy with high mileage driving and working away from home
- Flexible approach to work
Qualifications/Experience required:
- Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering qualification
- IEE 18th Edition Qualified
- IT Literate and fluent with Outlook, Excel and Word
- Gas Safe qualification – desirable
- CSCS Card – desirable
- Experience with building services plant such as boilers, HVAC, BMS – desirable
