Venatu are happy to announce that a very successful client of ours, who are experts within the Fire Protection industry and one of the largest installers of domestic and residential fire systems within the UK's care homes and high rises, are now looking to expand their team! Due to their consistent growth and expansion, they are looking for several Sprinkler Service & Commissioning Engineers to join them to assist with their projects in London, predominantly in high rise buildings and care homes.
This is a full-time, permanent position paying circa £45k DOE + Company Van!
Job duties include:
- Servicing, Testing & Commissioning on Various Fire Systems in Residential and Commercial environments
- Handover completed systems to clients
- Alter sprinkler systems, Wet & Dry Risers if required
- Test Dry & Wet Risers
- Pre-action systems
- Work closely with Service & Commissioning managers
- Inspect final head heights and install cover plates
- Maintain necessary paperwork and issue to admin daily
The type of candidate they are looking for:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection, or equivalent trade.
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems
- Competence in system commissioning, flow testing, pump testing, and fault diagnosis
- 2–5+ years in sprinkler service, testing, commissioning, or installation
- Experience working on commercial, industrial, or residential projects
- Background in working with client stakeholders, site managers, and fire consultants
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and hydraulic calculations
- PASMA/IPAF (desirable)
