A well-established manufacturing site in Runcorn is looking to recruit an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to strengthen its on-site engineering function. This is a days-based role, ideal for an experienced electrical engineer with strong fault-finding capability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical fault finding and repair on production machinery
  • Planned and reactive maintenance of plant and equipment
  • Working with motors, drives, sensors, control panels, and PLC-controlled machinery
  • Supporting production to minimise downtime and improve reliability
  • Participation in site call-out rota

About You:

  • Strong electrical bias
  • Proven maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience with Siemens drives (highly desirable)
  • Confident in electrical diagnostics, fault finding, and safe isolation
  • Comfortable working independently on site
