A long-established manufacturing and fabrication business is seeking a skilled Dimensional Quality Inspector to join its quality and inspection team. This role plays a key part in ensuring products meet required specifications, standards, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out detailed dimensional inspections on fabricated and machined components
  • Verify components against engineering drawings, tolerances, and quality requirements
  • Perform in-process and final inspections throughout the production cycle
  • Use a range of precision measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
  • Identify, record, and report non-conformances and inspection results
  • Support root cause investigations and corrective actions where required
  • Liaise with production and quality personnel to ensure compliance with internal and customer standards

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Dimensional or Quality Inspection role within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • High level of attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection tasks
  • Ability to work independently and manage inspection priorities

Highly Regarded:

  • Experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), particularly:
  • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
  • Dye Penetrant Testing (Dye Pen)
  • Current or previous NDT certifications

Hours of Work:

Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:45pm
Friday: 6am – 1pm
