We are currently recruiting for multiple Maintenance Engineers to join a growing and well-established manufacturing business. These opportunities are ideal for both electrically biased and mechanically biased Maintenance Engineers, with positions available on rotating shifts (mornings/afternoons) as well as a days-only pattern—perfect for those seeking improved work-life balance.

The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and performance of production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Fault find on electrical and mechanical systems, including conveyors and production machinery
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults, including PLC-related issues
- Maintain and repair plant equipment to minimise downtime
- Follow up on issues identified during maintenance inspections
- Take ownership of your area and drive improvements in maintenance KPIs
- Work closely with operations to deliver a strong, service-focused engineering function
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained safely and effectively
- Adhere to all Health & Safety and company procedures
About You
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (essential)
- Electrically or mechanically biased with strong fault-finding skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Ability to work under pressure and use initiative
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Desirable: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, PLC fault-finding experience, Welding or fabrication experience
