Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Auto Electrician to join our growing team in Sheffield. This is a full-time to permanent position following a successful 3-month probationary period. The successful candidate will have experience working with commercial vehicle electrical systems and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install electrical systems in commercial vehicles (HGVs, specialist builds)
- Fit lighting systems, sensors, reversing cameras, beacons, control units, and other vehicle electronics
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings
- Conduct electrical testing and fault-finding using diagnostic tools
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Collaborate with workshop colleagues and supervisors to meet deadlines
