Location: Sheffield

Weekly Pay Rate: Competitive – dependent on experience

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
  • Friday: 07:00 – 15:00
  • Total: 39 hours per week
  • Overtime available, paid at time and a half

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Auto Electrician to join our growing team in Sheffield. This is a full-time to permanent position following a successful 3-month probationary period. The successful candidate will have experience working with commercial vehicle electrical systems and take pride in delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install electrical systems in commercial vehicles (HGVs, specialist builds)
  • Fit lighting systems, sensors, reversing cameras, beacons, control units, and other vehicle electronics
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings
  • Conduct electrical testing and fault-finding using diagnostic tools
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with safety and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Collaborate with workshop colleagues and supervisors to meet deadlines
