A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester to join a long-established, family-run workshop in the Stafford area. The business is known for its honest approach, friendly team, and strong local reputation, offering a great place to work with a steady, reliable flow of jobs and a real sense of stability.
The Role
We’re looking for a good all-round Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester who enjoys variety and takes pride in doing things properly. You’ll carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repair work on a wide range of vehicles, alongside MOT testing to DVSA standards. You’ll be joining a supportive team where quality workmanship is valued above speed or volume.

Salary negotiable based on experience (Negotiable – plus bonus)

No pressure targets or efficiency monitoring

Early finish every Friday

39-hour working week
*
Monday to Thursday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Friday 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
*
Alternate Saturdays 8:30 am – 12:30 pm (plans to remove Saturdays)
*
Well-equipped workshop with modern tools and equipment
*

Requirements
*
Fully qualified Level 3 Vehicle Technician
*
MOT testing experience or willingness to become an approved tester
*
Confident handling diagnostics, repairs, and general workshop duties
*
Professional and reliable approach to work
*
Team player who enjoys a friendly, cooperative xiskglj environment
