Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:30pm
Overtime: Paid at time and a half

Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a skilled Depot Workshop Engineer to their team. The Role
As a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of powered access equipment including scissor lifts, cherry pickers, boom lifts, and telehandlers. Working within a small, friendly depot team, you will ensure all machinery is maintained to a high standard, safe to use, and ready for hire. This is a hands-on role that would suit someone mechanically minded, with some electrical knowledge and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and maintain a fleet of powered access equipment (scissor lifts, cherry pickers, booms, telehandlers).
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, carrying out repairs efficiently.
- Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) to ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards.
- Keep accurate service and maintenance records.
- Work closely with the depot team to ensure smooth operations and timely dispatch of machinery.
- Adhere to all Health Safety policies and safe working practices.
Requirements
- Essential: Valid IPAF qualification.
- Previous experience working in a plant hire workshop or powered access environment.
- Strong mechanical skills, with some basic electrical experience.
- Team player with good communication and organisational skills.
