Hours: Monday - Friday 8am to 6pm, overtime available
We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established fast-paced workshop in Rushden. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, fully equipped facility featuring hard standing, an inspection pit and pit lane, and on-site brake testing equipment. You will be part of a skilled, supportive team working on a varied and interesting fleet including sweepers, beaver tails, articulated vehicles, trailers and cars, offering a diverse workload and strong opportunities to develop your technical skills.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair a mixed fleet including sweepers, beaver tails, articulated vehicles, trailers and cars
- Diagnose and repair vehicle defects
- Carry out PMIs and safety inspections
- Perform brake testing and brake replacement
- Complete routine servicing and occasional clutch replacements
- Complete all job cards and maintenance records accurately
- Work effectively as part of a workshop team and support colleagues when required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow health and safety procedures
- Level 3 or time served HGV technician
- Must have previous experience working as a HGV Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to high standards of workmanship and safety
- Regular overtime available
- 28 days holiday

- £250 annual allowance for personal development or experience activities
- IRTEC qualification supported after probation
- Ongoing training and career development
- No contractual weekend working
