Permanent Position | Immediate Start Available -Clackmannanshire, Scotland
Venatu Automotive Group – Truck & Bus are recruiting an experienced PSV / HGV Technician to join a well-established operation in Clackmannanshire. This is a full-time, permanent role, ideal for a skilled technician looking for stability, strong earning potential, and a supportive working environment.
Working Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday – Day Shift
40 hours per week
£45,760 basic salary
Overtime available
Flexible start times
The Role
As a PSV / HGV Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a mixed fleet to the highest safety, legal, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance, and inspections on PSV, HGV, and van fleets
Accurately diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
Complete inspection reports, defect sheets, and audit documentation
Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and ensure full regulatory compliance
Attend roadside breakdowns when required
Use modern diagnostic equipment (full training provided)
What We’re Looking For
Recent, hands-on experience in a PSV, HGV, bus, or fleet workshop
Apprentice-trained with NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in PSV or HGV Mechanics
(Time-served technicians also encouraged to apply)
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
A professional, reliable, and team-focused approach
Good communication skills and strong attention to detail
