We are looking for an experienced Modular Painter to join our growing team, working on high-quality modular units including porta cabins across all stages of production.
Location: York
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am to 04:30pm
Pay: £14.50 to £15.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing surfaces, including sanding, filling, masking, and priming
- Painting internal and external surfaces of modular buildings to a high standard
- Applying finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
- Working to production schedules while maintaining excellent attention to detail
- Ensuring a clean and safe working environment
- Collaborating with other trades within the modular build process
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a painter within modular construction or similar environments
- Strong knowledge of paint types, applications, and finishing techniques
- Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and as part of a team
- Strong teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and quality-focused
- Able to work independently and unsupervised
