MOT Tester – Class 4 & 7
Salary: £38,597 – £47,697
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday (Week 1: 7:00am – 3:00pm / Week 2: 9:00am – 5:00pm)

We’re looking for an experienced Class 4 & 7 MOT Tester to join a busy and well-established Fleet Services team . This is a full-time, permanent role offering a great work–life balance, modern facilities, and long-term security.
The Role
You’ll be carrying out MOT testing on Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles in a well-equipped workshop that runs two full-time dedicated MOT lanes . The workshop is a good size, with multiple bays, a range of vehicle ramps, and a newly installed inspection pit , with further expansion planned.
It’s a steady role with good hours, no weekend working as standard, and the option to pick up overtime if you want it.
What You’ll Be Doing

Carrying out Class 4 and Class 7 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards

Making sure all testing and paperwork is completed accurately

Identifying defects and advising on any follow-up work

Working safely and keeping to workshop procedures

Supporting the wider fleet team when needed
