We have an excellent opportunity to join our Barton-upon-Humber client as a Legal Assistant. This position will be working within a call centre supporting the team on legal claims.

Salary: £27,716 + £750 quarterly bonus.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:55am to 5:30pm (40 hrs per week). Permanent.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning claims brought by third parties
  • Collecting and preparing evidence with supporting documents
  • Providing thorough and accurate reports to enable claim reviews with management
  • Reach appropriate resolutions to claims, ensuring fair treatment to customers at all times
  • Work to deadlines set by third parties
  • Work within timelines provided by the ICO to produce Subject Access Requests
  • Implement track changes to effectively reduce common issues

What we are looking for:

  • Previous complaint handling experience is essential
  • Ability to observe minute details and produce detailed reports
  • Strong analytical skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to effectively organise and prioritise your own workload
  • Must be able to work to strict deadlines
  • IT literate
  • GCSE Level C or above in Maths
