Overview
We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join a busy and growing fabrication company. The successful candidate will operate laser cutting machines to prepare metal components for production, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Operate laser cutting machines safely and efficiently.
- Set up machinery, adjust parameters, and maintain production flow.
- Conduct quality inspections of cut components to ensure precision and compliance with specifications.
- Assist with troubleshooting minor machine faults and report issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the fabrication team to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating laser machines in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Competent in using measuring equipment and performing inspections.
