HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic\\n\\nLocation: Nottingham\\nSalary: £26.40 per hour \\nHours: 4 on 4 off nights \\nContract: Permanent, full-time\\n\\nWe’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join the team in Nottingham. The role is based at a Vehicle Maintenance Unit where you’ll be carrying out fleet work, mainly on trailers but with some trucks and vans too.\\n\\nThis is a hands-on role within a business that has been running for over 15 years. We’re looking for someone reliable who takes pride in their work and can get the job done to a high standard.\\n\\nWhat you’ll do as a HGV Technician:\\n\\nCarry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV trailers, trucks, and vans\\nConduct safety inspections in line with DVSA standards\\nPerform diagnostic checks and fault finding on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems\\nComplete MOT preparation and presentation when required\\nEnsure all work is recorded accurately and completed to a high standard\\nKeep the workshop and equipment clean, tidy, and safe\\nWork to deadlines while maintaining a focus on quality and complianc\\nWhat we’re looking for:\\n\\nQualified or time-served HGV Technician\\nStrong knowledge of trailers and HGVs\\nGood problem-solving skills\\nSomeone who can work well both independently and with colleagues\\nWhat we offer:\\n\\nExcellent pay: £26.40ph\\n4 on 4 off shift pattern – enjoy a great work/life balance\\nOvertime available\\n20 days annual leave plus an extra day off for your birthday\\nWellness programme and supportive working environment\\nLong-term, permanent role with a company that values its people\\nInterested?
