About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Fire Systems Engineer to join a growing engineering team covering the Hull area. This role is ideal for someone with strong fault finding skills and proven experience working on commercial and residential fire alarm systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintenance, repairs, fault finding, and small works installation across a range of fire and security systems.
As a Fire Systems Engineer, you will attend planned preventative maintenance visits, reactive breakdowns, and emergency callouts while ensuring systems remain fully compliant with current industry standards and customer requirements. This position offers the opportunity to work with both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems, with additional exposure to emergency lighting, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms.
The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, while also supporting the wider engineering team when required. Experience working with Gent systems or other leading fire alarm manufacturers would be highly beneficial.
